Sites and Zones are used to create logical groupings of devices and provide structure on separation of devices.
A site is used to distinguish a significant area of crowd activity. They may correspond to buildings, defined entertainment zones or entire facilities. It serves as a top level grouping mechanism. Sites can also be used to have multi-level venues displayed on the dashboard.
Zones are the areas within a site captured by device(s) in operation. A zone may correspond to the view area of a single camera, or may be a larger logical area that contains several cameras, like a room or seating section. Alarms and risk metrics work at Zone level. Each zone can have an individual risk level set based on the three main metrics. In the map, the zone colour reflects the current risk level, with major risk for example, causing the zone to flash red.
