Features

Geospatial Heat Map

The DCM software can add smart capabilities to your existing security cameras. Data collected is overlaid onto a map of each camera view. The colour coded heat map allows effective identification of hot spots or problem areas for density, mood and velocity (speed and flow) at each active location.

Alert Level Indicator

The Alert Level Indicator visualises the level of risk on the user Dashboard for each location by analysing the relationship between density, mood and velocity. Risk level threshholds can be customised by the user to suit the nature of the space, event and expectated crowd type.

Zone Monitoring

The zone monitor indicates the real-time measurements of density, mood and speed at each location. Each zone is filterable by Alert Level.

Data playback

The data playback feature provides real time and retrospective data analysis. It enables you to validate data against a live image and heat-map to gain a deep understanding of key moments and metrics. Data is presented I none hour blocks.

User defined Alarms and SMS notifications

User defined alarms can be created based on density, flow, mood and duration threshholds.
These can be configured to alert the user on the DCM dashboard itself, be used in a real time list of items to be dealt with during an event, or set up to be sent to a defined list of staff automatically via SMS.

Reporting System

DCM data can be viewed using a suite of customisable reports, This includes not only the statistical data, but Alarm history, and audit trails. This allows users to process the data into reports or post event analysis. Optionally, reports can also be created to deliver the headcount (capacity) of an entire vane or subsections of it, based on camera data samples.

API

DCM data is also available via a secure API interface. Like the reports, this includes not only the statistical data, but Alarm history, and audit trails. This provides the opportunity for clients to integrate the DCM data with their existing reporting solutions or third party software if desired.

Scheduler

DCM includes a detailed scheduling feature. This feature allows the user to automate operation of the software. Camera data collection and analysis software can be set to only run at particular dates and times, or to a repeating schedule. This minimises costs, by only running the system when needed.

Crowd Counting with Custom Dashboards

The DCM Dashboard can be customised to combine data from multiple cameras into a simplified dashboard, showing just the data you care about. A particularly powerful option for providing live total crowd counts in defined sub areas of your building, venue or event.

Integration with VMS systems

The System can be set up to directly connect to cameras or use the feeds supplied by any VMS system. Some supported VMS systems have additional integrations to import and export data to allow viewing DCMs detailed analytics and alerts from within your existing VMS dashboard.

Cloud Based or On-Premises option

The System can be deployed as a cloud based solution, or on local dedicated hardware as an On-premises deployment. Cloud based is more flexible, generally easier to implement, cheaper and maintains data security via encryption both at rest and in transit to cloud storage. Those customers who still prefer their data not leave their local network may however be interested in the on-premises option.
